Middle East Institute Washington D.C., USA
For six months, I held a Research Fellowship at the Middle East Institute in Washington D.C., United States. During this tenure, I also assisted Prof. Marvin G. Weinbaum, my foreign PhD supervisor, with my dissertation.
Pakistan Television News, Islamabad
From July 2007 to January 2021, I served as a News Producer/Reporter at Pakistan Television News. During my tenure, I produced a series of short documentaries highlighting key issues related to Pakistan's security landscape. Additionally, I conducted exclusive one-on-one interviews with senior Pakistani government officials and foreign diplomats.
ATV News Islamabad
I had the opportunity to work with ATV, a private terrestrial news channel, for a year. During my tenure from December 2005 to December 2006, I reported on various disaster-prone areas in Pakistan, including the devastating 2005 earthquake that struck Azad Kashmir.
Voice of America, Washington D.C., USA
In 2014, I was honored to participate in a fellowship program sponsored by the United States, which allowed me to work with Voice of America (VoA) in Washington D.C. During my tenure, I produced several news stories published on the VoA website, exclusive reports for VoA radio, and assisted as a researcher for Ayesha Tanzeem's live current affairs show, "Access Point".
